A Biblical Picture: A House of Prayer is a place where:

1. God’s people KEEP His covenant & DO what is right

2. God’s people love, worship, & serve the Lord (v. 6)

3. A place of God-given joy (v. 7)

4. Offerings and sacrifices are accepted (v. 7)
(see Matt. 5:23-24, Mark 11:25)

5. God’s people have a love like God’s for the nations (v. 7)

6. God gathers the exiles of His people back to Himself

7. God gathers a lost world to Himself (v. 8b)

A Practical Outworking

1. Get right with GOD and EACH OTHER!

2. Rekindle a FIRST LOVE for Christ, the WOUNDED Savior!

3. Be DEVOTED to prayer with God’s people in every setting possible.

4. Pray for one another WHILE together with one another.
Ask: “How may I pray for you?”

5. Make prayer a primary part of every aspect of church life.

6. Tell stories and share the testimonies of answered prayer.

7. Pray for God’s assignments to the lost world beginning at home and to the ends of the earth. Then obey the Final Command (Great Commission).
